OUR FLAGS ARE SPECIFIED IN AS 3891.2-- 2008

They are now approved for use as specified in AS 3891.2 para 4.3.2 C & 4.3.3 C. which says 4.3.3 (c) Cable marker shall be (i) spherical or (ii) cylindrical or (iii) planar with a minimum area of 0.09m sq m and a minimum dimension through the centre of area of at least 200 mm and of a single recommended colour. Rectangular markers shall have suitably rounded corners to prevent corona discharge or radio interference, and be attached to the cable by a standard industry attachment.(Snap clamps are a standard industry attachment. NOTE: A reflector may be attached.

These durable flags are made from rip stop vinyl and have a class 1 reflective patch stuck to both sides. The flag is attached with our universal snap clamp which will hold securely on conductors from 12 to 70 mm dia and ABC. The 6-16 clamp is for diameters less than 16 mm dia

The warning flag was developed for and has been successfully used by Country Energy for marking power lines where crop dusting and other operations are carried out. It is snapped onto the conductor from the ground with a hotstick and simple tool.
